A Shared Memory

Several years ago I had the great fortune to spend a week at Lake Powell. I traveled there two summers in a row with a good friend of mine. We spent the week swimming, boating, jet skiing, hiking, cliff diving and eating over a campfire. It’s an experience that I will always treasure, and remains to be one of my favorite places. I hope to return some day.

a shared memory
that is carved into my past
almost out of reach

Have you ever been to Lake Powell?

  2. Ahhh ya made me miss it. We have so many good memories there. It was the perfect place to take our kids, camp, swim and explore. One of these years we will rent a big houseboat and bring everyone.

  3. Thank you for following💖
My husband talks about summers at Lake Powell as a kid. My Father in law hopes that we all go back. (I’ve never been) I hope we do. He turns 80 this year. Thank you for the pic! I see it all more clearly now.😊

    • It’s a beautiful place that I highly recommend. Get there…even if only for a weekend! 🙂 Pictures will never do it justice…it’s just one of those places. Thank you so much for reading and commenting on my post.
      Have a great day!
