Monday is here already. May it bring you many smiles!
If you recall, last week I used a haiku rule created by the website AhaPoetry. The site provided a variety of elements to use when writing a haiku. Today I selected #42 which suggests avoiding all reference to yourself in the haiku. Here goes…
in dry, sandy earth
the cacti grows prickly spines—
blooms orange in sunshine
Do your poems illustrate how you are feeling or do you write them about someone/thing else?
Have a wonderful week!
