Lurking in the Alley

Hello everyone!

I love finding quotes each Wednesday that sum up how I’m feeling. This one, by Earl Nightingale, is perfect for my thoughts this week. Perhaps this is why I continue to add more freelancing projects to my already overloaded schedule. Read on for today’s haiku.

“The biggest mistake that you can make is to believe that you are working for somebody else. Job security is gone. The driving force of a career must come from the individual. Remember: Jobs are owned by the company, you own your career!”
~Earl Nightingale

    • Thank you very much! I appreciate your readership!

I agree with teaching this quote in public schools. I wish I had this knowledge years ago. I have been through career after career searching for something that wasn’t there…patience and passion. I love writing, so I think I finally found it. 🙂
