Girl on the Go: Visit an Island in the Caribbean

It has been a crazy couple of weeks. I was given a project at my full-time job that I was not expecting. It has created lots of extra work, and job security, which is great, but my level of exhaustion has been high. I have missed spending time reading blogs and creating my own content.

Today is Halloween and to prep for the day, I started the Stephen King book, Salem’s Lot. Tonight, I am hoping to dish out candy to trick or treaters and then watch scary movies with my hubby. But before I head over to the couch to read the spooky Stephen King thriller, I thought I would post my weekly Girl on the Go adventure. I am dreaming of warmer weather!

Snow Rumbles

Hi!

Thanks Haiku Horizons for the haiku prompt, “silent.”

Today’s Haiku:

snow rumbles high

We’ve had a lovely fall here in Minnesota! It’s been dry, so the leaves are not as colorful as they usually are, but the snow has not fallen yet. In the past few days, the temperatures have hovered in the mid-60s. And, the lovely sunshine has been smiling down on us.

Cheers to more sunshine!

Girl on the Go: Visit Santa Fe

I’ve been to Santa Fe a couple of times, and it’s one of my favorite places, so I want to go back. I love the landscape, the architecture, the art and cuisine. I also love the overall feel of the city. This week, my Girl on the Go adventure is to revisit Santa Fe.
