Girl on the Go: Walk Across the Golden Gate Bridge

In my twenties, I traveled to California several times a year for work. I visited Sonoma Valley, Haight Ashbury, Balboa Park, rode a cable car, went to Fisherman’s Wharf, drove on the PCH, shopped in groovy boutiques and ate at in unique dining establishments. One year, my friend who lived in San Francisco, took me across the Golden Gate Bridge by car, but I never had the pleasure of walking across the bridge. So, this week, my Girl on the Go adventure is to walk the Golden Gate Bridge.

  1. When we were in SF a couple of years ago we rented bikes and rode over the Golden Gate bridge. I’m afraid of heights too so while it was fun it was also a little bit scary. 🙂 Hope you get there for a walk soon!
