Writing Projects
Southeastern Minnesota offers a variety of publications for area residents. I write for a few of them, and find that it satisfies my curiosity and my love of writing.
I write without an outline. For me, it’s too restrictive, so I consider myself a “pantser.” A blank piece of paper is thrilling, and I find it easier to write by the seat of my pants. My pieces always start with a strong headline and an ending to help guide my writing process.
I began my freelance writing career for Rochester Women Magazine and soon picked up freelance writing jobs with other publications after attending a variety of writer’s workshops and networking events. Here’s a list of publications:
