About Me

Hello, I’m Nicole Lee Czarnomski (zar-NOM-ski). I am an author, freelance writer, journaling geek, and paper crafter. My bylines range from wheatgrass to whiskey to pet sitters. I write with one or two cats on my lap and a hot cup of coffee by my side.

I created a guided journal with four distinct categories. Whether you want to cultivate gratitude, ease anxiety, show yourself some love, or manifest your goals, this journal will help you uncover the truth that lies within you.

The book genres I read the most are memoirs, psychological thrillers or anything by Kristin Hannah. If there isn’t a book in my hand, I’m bingeing on Netflix or paper crafting, journaling, singing karaoke (only at home) or woodworking with my husband.

    1. Hi Lisa,

You are so kind! I was surprised at how much you appreciate my thoughts and words. I can’t thank you enough for your support and readership. It’s difficult to put yourself out there and it is always nice to know that it inspires someone. I love to read your reflections on life; your prose is poetic and engaging. Thank you for sharing.

I imagine that you are an incredible mother and wife. I look forward to reading more of your posts! Keep them coming πŸ™‚

  1. Hi Nicole, it’s great to find you in WordPress! Your cats are so adorable. I am sure I will enjoy your blog for long run – still have to catch up with your blog πŸ™‚
Keep writing for magazine! It feels like I am talking to myself, I should start to write for magazine again, my motivation is bit low nowadays πŸ˜€ – You did great by having some of your articles published in several magazines. So inspiring!
    Have a wonderful day!!

    1. Hi Indah,

Yes, I love writing for magazines. I have been very fortunate to work with editors who send me assignments. I don’t know how long that will last, so, I try to appreciate every assignment that I receive.

I am glad you found my blog, I hope you enjoy it. I can’t wait to read more from you too! Have a wonderful weekend! πŸ™‚

    1. Hi Lisa,

I appreciate your nomination. You are too kind. I hope you understand that I do not wish to participate in the awards. Please know that I am flattered…and I love reading your blog! πŸ™‚

  2. Hi! Thank you for the follow to my blog.
I have a good reason to follow yours: I like the name Whispering Pen. I think something does whisper to us little ideas. But then it’s up to us to create. It might not be today or tomorrow, but the idea has been planted. πŸ™‚

I have a good reason not to follow you too: You are a fitness instructor and I will feel guilty every time I read your blog. πŸ™ But maybe that is good too. πŸ™‚

    1. Hi! Thanks so much for reading and commenting. Please don’t feel guilty about working out. It’s a lifestyle for me…it always has been. πŸ™‚ I am glad you like the name of my blog. I think it fits me just fine. If you listen you can hear creativity whispering to you.

      Best wishes,

    1. Hi!
Thank you so much for the nomination! I appreciate it! I don’t want to sound ungrateful in any way, but I do not participate in the awards. I love that you think my blog is worthy of an award!! πŸ™‚

      Have a great week!

  3. Last night, I dreamed about using an old fountain pen, and it made such a nice sound as I wrote with it. Then, your blog name popped up in my inbox today. I love these little coincidences.

Oh, and I love your cats. πŸ™‚ Yvonne
